Pilates is a form of exercise that was originally created in the 1920’s by a physical trainer called Joseph Pilates. It is a way of exercise that focuses on improving posture, flexibility, strength and body awareness. It is a great form of rehabilitation. At this studio we also use Pilates to help with low back, neck and other postural related pains. We offer small group classes tailoring the exercises to your needs keeping your goals in mind. We also offer pre-natal and post-natal pilates classes.
Every new client will complete a health questionnaire and set some goals. If you are new to Pilates it’s recommended that you have a one to one session prior to joining a group.
